In memory of my sweet beautiful girl, who I could never imagine life without. Lady Love you were everything to me. You were my heart and my pride. You were very wise and noble. You were my best friend. We endured so much together. You helped me through so much. I could never express to anyone what you mean to me. I hope that you know how much I loved you, and how much I always will. My heart broke when the time came as I did not want to let you go. Every day my heart aches and tears flow with grief of not having you here. Lady, Thank You, for all the years you gave to me. And how you never let me down. I hope that I never let you down. You touched the lives of so many people. And many are missing you. But no one more than me. Lady wait for me, wait for me at the bridge. I will come eventually. I look forward to the day that I can wrap my arms around your neck, bury my face in your mane and cry with joy for being able to do so again.
Watch over your son Lady. Keep him safe. As a part of you lives on in him now. I will make the same promise to him that I did to you. You will be here with me until the end. Fly Lady, stretch your legs like you love to do. Cut those barrels as you loved to do. Extend that trot so no one can catch you. Wait for the day that we can do all that again together.
"And now I'm glad I didn't know
The way it all would end,
The way it all would go.
Our lives are better left to chance,
I could have missed the pain,
but I'd have had to miss the dance."
Garth Brooks (from his song: "The Dance")
It was one hell of a Dance Lady. Thank you. You are in my heart and soul forever. Take Care Sweet girl until I can see you again. Please don't stop galloping through my dreams. As I need to know that you are OK.
